About Lupita
Hecho con amor
Ever since I was a little girl, I was intrigued by beads. I remember I was given some sequins and random beads that I made a few bracelets from. That memory has never left my mind.
Throughout the years I grew my knowledge of beadwork. One year I went down to Mexico and was fascinated by these little woven beaded baskets. I reverse engineered them and made them myself.
In the early 2000s, my good friend challenged me to make a quilted ornament. Oh my! I watched many videos and I had a lot of trial and error with them. I have a love-hate relationship with them but at the same time I love the end results.
Shortly after getting married in 2005, I went to the rosary making group at my Catholic church. I was taught how to make corded and wire rosaries. My passion for making rosaries was born there.
I enjoy sewing, crocheting, knitting and other related crafts. My mind is always spinning and welcomes challenges.
I would love to have the opportunity to work with you and create a special heirloom for someone in your life or yourself. ๐
